Principal Teachers are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Modern Languages to cover a maternity post in North Yorkshire. This is a full-time, 2-term contract starting in January 2026, with the successful candidate teaching French up to GCSE and Spanish up to Year 9.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French up to GCSE and Spanish up to Year 9, ensuring lessons are engaging, dynamic, and effective.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Monitor, assess and provide feedback on student progress to help students achieve their potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff in the Modern Languages department to maintain a high standard of language education.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching French up to GCSE and Spanish up to Year 9.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
