International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change, and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
This International Women’s Day we’re celebrating something very special at Principal Teachers – we are proudly 100% female owned and led. What started 25 years ago in a box bedroom with a small loan from The Prince’s Trust has grown into the leading Teacher Recruitment agency in North Yorkshire, alongside our Alternative Education Provision, PT Hub.
Today the business is run by an all-female team – including four women from the same family – a mum and her daughters –and we couldn’t be prouder of how far the journey has come. It’s proof that with determination, resilience and a little courage, women can build something extraordinary.
