We are urgently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 2 class in a delightful primary school within North Yorkshire. The successful applicant will be carrying out the general duties of a GTA and is required to start as soon as possible with the potential of a long term contract.  This position is 5 days a week and full time.

You will be working in a delightful primary school in the Harrogate area, under the supervision of the class teacher.

Requirements:

 

    • Qualified TA, or relevant experience
    • Current DBS, dated in the last 12 months
    • Recent classroom experience
    • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
    • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
    • Able to deliver the primary National Curriculum in all subjects
    • Passionate about supporting teaching and learning
    • Enthusiastic about working with children
