We are looking to recruit the following:
- Primary teacher
- Secondary teacher
- NCT
- HLTA
- University graduate (full training will be provided)
We specialise in supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs, neurodiverse children, those with ADHD and/or on the autistic spectrum. Working in close liaison with local schools and North Yorkshire County Council, we offer a specialist service, grounded in the Thrive approach, for disengaged secondary and primary-aged pupils. The PT Hub is a nurturing, supportive and calm environment where each child is greeted at the door in the morning with a smile.
Pupils have the opportunity to study functional skills and a range of GCSE’s as well as creative subjects such as Art, Cookery, Forest Schools, Photography, Yoga, Meditation and more. We provide an inclusive, positive and family environment, supporting both our students and our teachers.
The successful applicants will work one to one with a student – or will support a teacher with a pupil. The primary aim is to support the student with their well-being, to enable us to improve their educational outcomes and bring out their full potential.
Excellent communication skills are essential in order to build positive relationships with our pupils. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing high-quality learning opportunities for all students. To apply for a teaching position you must have a degree in a curriculum subject, ideally QTS and have recent, relevant classroom experience.
To apply for an HLTA, or TA position you must have recent, relevant classroom experience and ideally an appropriate qualification.

- Recent, relevant classroom experience and ideally an appropriate qualification (TA/HLTA).
