Principal Teachers (PT) are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our team and support a range of Primary and Secondary schools across the Harrogate area. Whether you’re a GTA, LSA, HLTA, or ATA, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant with PT, you’ll play a key role in supporting classroom learning, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils achieve their full potential. You’ll work alongside dedicated teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum and provide invaluable support to students of all abilities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification or relevant experience
  • Ability to support the delivery of the Primary National Curriculum across all subjects
  • Available at least 2 days per week
  • Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children
  • Skilled in behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Committed to raising pupil attainment and supporting school values
  • Able to build strong relationships with staff and pupils from diverse backgrounds
  • A professional and reliable approach to every placement

Many of our Teaching Assistants find that short-term placements lead to longer-term or permanent positions within our partner schools.
