Principal Teachers are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We operate a stringent recruitment process, over and above the mandatory checks, which gives schools the assurance that our staff are of the highest calibre. We ask all candidates to complete a Safeguarding General Awareness Module to promote best practice and keep candidates up to date with safeguarding policies.

Our Quality Assurance Promise comprises of a set of standards designed to safeguard children. We also aim to improve the quality of supply teachers by supporting our staff and schools with their needs and as a result, drive up the quality of teaching, supporting and learning.

The standards we promise to adhere to are:

To follow stringent recruitment processes, including face to face interviews
To undertake extensive compliance and background checks including a minimum of two references
To provide a full induction and continued support to all supply teachers
To provide our supply teachers with the Quality Assured Training course
To maintain regular and on-going compliance checks
To seek feedback from schools and ensure this is used to develop supply teachers

Our consultants have many years’ education experience and are specialists in their field. With Becca (an experienced teacher) at the helm, PT can help with short-term, long-term and permanent vacancies and operates a 24/7 service to our teachers and schools. We have an extensive database of NQT’s, Primary and Secondary teachers, Teaching assistants and Cover Supervisors all fully checked and ready to work in your school.
